NEW DELHI: Delhi BJP leaders organised different events on Friday to mark the birthday of PM Narendra Modi.
Leader of opposition in Delhi assembly, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, celebrated Modi’s birthday by distributing sweets and fruits among slum dwellers of Bilaspur Sewa Basti under his Badarpur constituency.
“People thanked PM Modi and said that during the Covid pandemic when they were struggling for food Modi government provided poor with a free monthly ration which helped them overcome the crisis.

The residents of unauthorized colonies are also very happy because Modi government has given them ownership rights of their properties,” Bidhuri said.
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari prayed at a temple in Chanakyapuri for Modi’s long and healthy life while MLA Vijender Gupta organised a puja in Rohini. BJP leader Vijay Goel took out 'Tiranga Yatra' from Bhagat Singh Park in ITO to Red Fort to mark the PM’s birthday.
Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta said a 21-days long service campaign has been started to celebrate the PM’s birthday during which several programmes will be organised.
